SUMMER PACKING LIST
Red Cell, Blue Cell, & Guests
Clothing (Avoid cotton if possible):
Broke in hiking boots
3x socks
1x shorts/Tan or Green
2x Underwear
2x Hiking pants/Tan or Green
Belt
2x Short sleeve shirt
1x Field Shirt
Waterproof jacket
Baseball or Boonie hat
Work gloves
Gear:
Poncho
50’ Paracord
Knife
2x Lighter
Metal canteen cup
Water filter
Water bottle
Backpack
50-70 Degree Sleeping bag
Compass
Notepad , pen and pencil
Mouth Guard
1-2 Snacks a day
2 Meals per day
This meal amount may be adjusted for more or less, depending on the event. Check with your Troop leadership and look for updates on the BLOG.
Mess kit and eating utensils
Personal hygiene kit
1x Bar soap
1x Towel
Toothbrush and toothpaste (Travel kits work great)
Required medications. (Notify your Squadron “Granddad” if you carry emergency medications like Epi etc…)
1x Headlamp with spare batteries and bulb
2x Pocket flashlights with spare batteries
Eye protection. We recommend either clear or low density yellow lensed safety glasses for walking around the woods at night.
ANY TROOP CROSS LOAD ITEMS determined by the Troops SOP.
