Feed My Sheep

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

1 Timothy 4:12

The U.S. Men’s Academy is an exclusive leadership program. We are a faith-first, fraternity of fathers - building trust, tribe and community in the name of God. We (fathers) are the distinct men God has appointed to raise and lead the small children He has uniquely given us charge over.  It is our duty to ONLY do this according to God’s Word as they are His heritage and not our own. As the heads of household, we must shepherd our flock. The USMA exists to organize the men within their churches and ultimately the Church (Big C), in order to provide purpose, direction and motivation (leadership) within the tribe we are cultivating. We live and love locally, focused on building tribe within our communities so we may be used as proper examples for other communities as He wills.

How do we do this?

The Lighthouse Squadron
is one way we cultivate proper Christian, masculine hierarchy within our communities. We organize our men and young men into functional mentorship groups called Squadrons. Fathers and sons participate jointly in adventure missions that are designed to challenge their skills and endurance while building lifelong bonds. A large part of this process requires community events and outreach which not only builds up our local area, but grows trust and tribe all at once.

Our squadrons are further broken down into 3 Troops, each with 12 young men (Sons or as we call them - Troopers). Dads are assigned to the same Troop as their sons and will have roles and responsibility within their respective Troop.

OUR MISSION: is to establish and cultivate a meritocracy focused on God, among men - using time tested and proven methods from the western tradition - we pray to provide purpose, direction and motivation in order accomplish the mission and improve ourselves, families, community and the academy.

We strive to be biblical men. Classically masculine, Christian role models - securing the present so our children may have a better future.

SQUADRON MOTTO:

“BE THE LIGHTHOUSE”

A lighthouse built on a foundation of truth, whose light comes from the Creator, can weather any storm. He stands tall against the crashing chaos and leads others to safe harbor.

Christian Apprentice

The Christian Apprentice Program (CAP) exists to promote healthy, future-focused growth for Christian tribes - Training and retaining the future of our church to live and love locally.

We can all see the outcome of the modern Roman system that encourages our peers to place their children into government schools, resulting in the child longing for a future of indebtedness to a college degree or a low-paying job in a community away from their tribe. The solution to this is simply leadership and love. As leaders of our local Christian tribe - it is our duty to identify and embolden the young men (future leaders) to be self-sufficient and tribe focused - raising them to grow the Church
together. The USMA stands united in the belief that we are more capable of raising the children of the church than the “Roman Government” sponsored school systems. As such we are always looking to build our network of Christian, self-employed men who desire to build a curriculum for the future of their local church.

At 16 years of age, a homeschooled, Christian boy should be capable of apprenticeship in a trade - allowing him 2 years of mastering a skill with a USMA mentor and building a business to provide for his future family. This model skips the mediocre results of the public system and the debt-scheme provided by the “normal way” of doing things (college and job hunting)

C-AI:
Christian-Alternative Institutions

This world we are in is full of social institutions. A social institution is a group or organization that has specific roles, norms, and expectations, which functions to meet the “social needs of society.” The family, government, religion, education, and media are all examples of social institutions.

Banks and high interest loans, just like colleges and liberal indoctrinations have become “gate keepers” of our potential. But we don’t have to settle for this.

Christian men should be striving for societal independence and autonomous solutions for these institutions within their local church. Education, money, healthcare, homes, land, insurance, jobs - all of these could exist within a well tended church with a little organization and know-how.

Much like the Christian Apprentice Program - we aim to offer better alternatives, not equivalents - Keeping the Christian family accountable to God first - not the government, banks or other institutions.

The U.S.M.A. Creed:

As the headship of my family - it is my duty to provide truth, love and wisdom to my loved ones and neighbors alike. To do this I need to seek a consistently-growing lifestyle in three areas:

Spiritual excellence - Nurturing my Christian faith, family and community. I know who and what I am and act with honor, dignity and respect.

Intellectual achievement -Defined by academic excellence, self reliance and the mastery of my craft.

Physical prowess - Focusing on performance, nutrition, resiliency and discipline through fitness and martial excellence.

Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good.  Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.  Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.  Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
Romans 12: 9-12

“Project Lighthouse”.

Project Lighthouse is a public service provided by the USMA for kids who aren’t in school during the week. We offer a COED venue for kids to complete homework, learn a few new skills and get some exercise while their parents are working.

This is a private organization and space for Project Lighthouse events is limited.

Dates and times for the next event will be posted here.
